What you'll need

Driver requirements.

We're looking for safe, reliable, and compassionate people. Here's what you'll need:

Valid WA MR or LR licence, or willingness to obtain one
Working With Children (WWC) Check — KTS can support the application
Clean driving record and National Police Clearance
Willingness to work early starts (6:30am) and follow structured schedules
Good communication skills — you'll interact with families, children, and base team
Comfortable using smartphone apps for routing and trip management

Don't have your MR/LR licence yet?

What a KTS shift looks like.

6:30
Vehicle check & briefing

Arrive at depot, complete vehicle safety check, review the morning run on the KaGo app.

7:00
Morning pickups

Collect children from homes or designated pickup points. Transport aide manages loading and supervision.

8:30
Delivery to centres

All children dropped at their respective centres. Trip confirmed via app. Return to base.

3:00
Afternoon run

Collect from centres, deliver home. Finish by approximately 6:00pm depending on run length.

No. KTS provides full training for all new drivers. What matters most is a safe driving record, reliability, and genuine care for the children you'll be transporting.
KTS drivers are direct employees — not contractors. That means entitlements, paid leave, and the security of a proper employment relationship.
We operate across Perth Metro (primarily northern and eastern suburbs) and the South West WA (Busselton region). Specify your preferred region when you apply.
Every bus has a dedicated transport aide whose role is to manage and support children during the run. You focus on driving. You are never alone.
